NDSU Defeats JMU For 6th Title in Seven Years

The FCS National Championship has come back home to Fargo.

With the 17-13 win by the Bison over the defending champion Dukes of James Madison, North Dakota State claimed its sixth title in the last seven years.

It was a little closer than expected, but North Dakota State exacted its revenge on the team that kept them from six in a row.

NDSU Quarterback Easton Stick went 13–for–22 with 130 yards and one touchdown in the win and was named the game’s MVP. Meanwhile JMU’s quarterback Bryan Schor went 14–for–32 with 148 yards with two interceptions in the losing effort.
