Bulls fall to Houston at home

Houston wins a back and forth game 116-107 over the Bulls Monday night. 1st Qtr, Houston hit a bunch of threes starting with Ariza at 9:52 to make 8-3. Then Eric Gordon hits 3 threes to increase their lead to 30-13 and Chris Paul capped off the period for Houston with a three and a foul at 2:02 to make 34-13. Bulls closed out the quarter on a 9-1 run to 35-22 Houston. 2nd Qtr, Bulls continued their run. Valentine cut it to after a 3 at 9:07. At 5:38, Houston’s lead was cut to 7 after a Portis hook shot. At 2:47 and with 39.1 left in the half, Kris Dunn made it a 4 point game and a 2 point game with a two and a three. Houston had a 5 point lead at halftime 60-55. 3rd Qtr, Bulls tie it after two Lopez free throws at 10:56 and then take the lead at 9:16 after a Dunn jump shot. It was back and forth from their till Houston went on a run to make it 81-71 Rockets after a Tucker 3 pointer at 3:17. It was 87-76 Houston after 3 quarters of play. 4th Qtr, Houston increased their lead to 94-79 after a Ryan Anderson 3 at 7:45 and a Trevor Ariza 3 made it 106-88 at 4:50 left. Houston went on to win 116-107. Houston were lead in scoring by Chris Paul and Eric Gordon with 24 points each. Bulls were lead in scoring by Bobby Portis with 22 points off the bench. Kris Dunn and Denzel Valentine both had 19 each for the Bulls as well. Bulls fall to 14-27 and are in New York to face Knicks tomorrow night
