Bucks Kick it in Gear Late

BLOOMINGTON, IN – After trailing 14-13 at halftime, and hearing a lot of jeers on the road, the Ohio State Buckeyes rose from the dead to defeat the Indiana Hoosiers 49-21.

JT Barrett was the dual-threat QB he needed to be as he carried the ball 13 times for 61 yards, but it was his arm that helped the Buckeyes as he finished 20-35 for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns in the victory.

J.K. Dobbins lead the Bucks rushing attack with 29 carries for 181 yards in the game and Ohio State finished with 596 total yards of offense in the win.

The Hoosiers offense was led by QB Richard Lagow as he put up 410 yards through the air on 40-65 passing.  Lagow threw three TDs but was picked off twice and was sacked five times as the Ohio State defense turned up the heat in the second half.

The play of the game happened with 4:38 remaining in the 3rd.  Amidst a hostile crowd chanting “O-ver-rated”  Barrett silenced the critics with a 74-yard strike to Parris Campbell to give the Buckeyes the lead for good.
