Injury Sidelines Tamis For Season

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana State freshman center Lynn Tamis will miss the remainder of the 2018-19 season after a knee injury will sideline her for the remaining of her freshman campaign.

The injury, sustained at Illinois on Dec. 5, prevented her from playing against UIC on Dec. 8. She underwent tests evaluating her knee which confirmed the season-ending injury.

Tamis played in seven games this year, averaging 19.3 minutes per game, scored 25 points and shot 52.4 percent (11-for-21) from the floor. She posted 26 rebounds (3.6 per game) and was credited with six blocks.

Indiana State (5-3) tips off at Butler at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse Monday evening at 7 p.m. ET.
