Hill Leads Sycamores Past Truman

TERRE HAUTE, IN – Tyreke Key tallied 26 points and the Indiana State Sycamores held off a late Truman State Run to defeat the Bulldogs 77-69.

After Jacob Socha converted a four-point play to give Truman State a 48-46 lead, and exchange of baskets between Jordan Barnes for ISU and Brodric Thomas kept the Bulldog lead at one, Jordan Barnes scored the next five points to give ISU a 54-50 lead and the Sycamores never looked back.

Key finished 11-15 from the field while Jordan Barnes finished 6-11 from distance to help out with 20 points. Emondre Rickman finished with 12 points and 5 rebounds and Allante Holston recorded 10 points on 5-8 shooting.

Turner Scott paced the Bulldog attack with 14 points while Hunter Strait finished with 11. Cade McKnight and Jacob Socha added 10 apiece.
